Amber N. Wright, DDS

Dr. Amber N. Wright was born in Xenia, Ohio, and graduated from Xenia High School in 1996. She continued her education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a thematic sequence in chemistry. Dr. Amber then furthered her education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2004. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Amber worked for one year at a small general dentistry practice in Chillicothe, Ohio, where she saw both adult and pediatric patients. During her first year of practice, she realized how much she enjoyed working with the younger dental population. Therefore, she accepted a job at a large general dentistry practice in Dayton, where she could specifically cater to patients ages 0-20 years. Dr. Amber worked at this large practice for two years and received a tremendous amount of experience working only with children and young adults. She realized an incredible number of patients and their parents, especially those that had Medicaid and CareSource, were driving at least 30 – 40 minutes from Springfield and its surrounding areas to get dental work completed. She understood the large demand for dentists that agree to see these patients and, therefore, she decided to start her own private practice in Springfield to provide quality, convenient care to this younger population.

Jamie
Jamie

Jamie, originally from Fairborn, Ohio, is one of the front office staff at Smile Wright Dental. Since 2005, she has worked in the dental field at practices that cater to children and young adults. Jamie is married, and has her own wonderful little boy to keep her on the go. Jamie feels “very fortunate to be part of the Smile Wright Dental team.”

Niki
Niki
Niki is the lead dental assistant at Smile Wright Dental. She has worked in the dental field since 2005 and graduated from Sinclair Community College in the summer of 2008 with her Expanded Function Dental Assistant degree. Niki is originally from the Dayton area and presently lives in Kettering. She adores working with children and is married with two young boys of her own.

Jo

Jo is one of Smile Wright’s hygienists, and has spent more than ten years working in children-based practices in the Dayton area. Jo grew up in a small farming town in Mercer County, Ohio, and graduated from Lima Technical College in 1995. She is qualified to administer local anestheia to patients, and also monitor the administration of nitrousoxide. Outside of dentistry, Jo enjoys scrap-booking and has contributed some of her creativity to Smile Wright by designing the “Cavity Free Team” and several advertising pieces.

Rakiyah
Rakiyah
Rakiyah is a Certified Dental Assistant at Smile Wright Dental and has been involved in the dental profession since 1997. She is originally from the Dayton area, and is married with a beautiful family residing in Englewood. Rakiyah enjoys working with the younger population and is “fascinated by the wonderful children” she works with.

Kristi
Kristi
Kristi is a dental assistant at Smile Wright Dental, and is from Fairborn, Ohio. Kristi was tutoring second grade students in a post-high-school program when she realized how much she enjoyed working with children. She attended Sinclair Community College until 2006, and has been a dental assistant since January 2007. Kristi really enjoys working in the dental field and hopes to further her career with continuing education.
